How To Enable Two-Factor Authentication On Twitter

Recently Twitter has launched "Two-Factor Authentication" or Two-Step Verification" feature to assure more secure for twitter accounts. Although other social networking site like Facebook, Google, Dropbox etc,. already released for users. But twitter added this feature because of more hacking and phishing scam on twitter. To avoid such thing twitter finally added this feature.

Two-Factor Authentication is secure login process means you have to enter two authentication factors, First you have to enter your regular twitter password and second one is a code that you receive on your mobile number, without that code no one can access your account.

To enabling Two-Factor Authentication n your twitter, all you have to go Twitter setting page [click here] and you may have to add your phone number, if didn't setup yet .
Now fill your number, country code and carrier (operator provider) and click activate button.
Once the verification process completed and your phone is activated on your twitter account. Again go to the your Twitter account setting page and check mark "Require a verification code when I sign in" beside “Access Security” option.

As a result, while login into your twitter account with your password, after login process twitter will ask a code that you received on your mobile phone. Two-factor authentication will help Twitter to defend against hacking attempts and phishing scam.
